P0760 = Shift Solenoid “C” – Electrical Malfunction**
This code indicates a fault in the electrical circuit related to Shift Solenoid C in the automatic transmission. The Transmission Control Module (TCM) is unable to properly activate or monitor Solenoid C, which is critical for gear shifting.

Possible Causes:

1. Faulty Shift Solenoid C
2. Open or shorted wiring in the solenoid circuit
3. Dirty, contaminated, or low transmission fluid
4. Bad valve body or internal transmission damage
5. TCM malfunction (rare)

Common Symptoms:

1. Check Engine Light (CEL) ON
2. Erratic or harsh gear shifting
3. Transmission stuck in one gear (limp mode)

5. Slipping gears or failure to engage certain gears

Repair Steps:

1. Check Transmission Fluid – Level and cleanliness
2. Inspect and Test Solenoid “C”
3. Check Wiring & Connectors
4. Remove Valve Body (if needed) and test/replace solenoid
5. Clear the Code and perform a test drive
