This code indicates that the Transmission Control Module (TCM) has detected a problem when the transmission attempts to shift from 3rd gear to 4th gear.

Possible Causes:

1. Low or dirty transmission fluid
2. Faulty shift solenoid C (controls 3-4 shift)
3. Malfunctioning transmission valve body
4. Internal transmission mechanical failure (worn clutch packs, bands, or drum)
5. Wiring issues (short/open circuits between TCM and solenoid)
6. Faulty Transmission Control Module (rare)

Symptoms:

1. Transmission stuck in 3rd gear (fails to shift into 4th)
