Which is the Best Automatic Transmission?
DCT, CVT, PDK, and AMT which one ? Your new Automatic Transmission car search begins mostly by these options
So which one is the best for you Lets Find Out!
You saw a car in a TV ad or News Paper or one of Your Family Or Friend’s have got it then there are a lot of more (blocking or stopping things) which version to buy what features to choose according to your usage and many things
So let’s talk about the Transmission type which will be best for your needs
So what is Automatic Transmission?
An Automatic Transmission seems pretty simple you just push the pedal and it just drives. But in general, it is a very complex (machine/method/way).
An automatic transmission system used sensors to improve (as much as possible) when and how the gears should shift and change them in the same way/in that way using oil pressure.
You can check here to visually see the inner workings
If we breakdown this complex (machine/method/way) in simple terms There are 3 main parts/pieces
- 1) Mechatronic
- 2) Torque Converter
- 3) Planetary Gears
While changing the gear in manual transmission the driver pushes the tight hand-hold and the gearbox disengages from the engine while doing this and after that, the gear engaged and the tight hand-hold released then the car goes on
In an automatic transmission, this working handled by the torque Converter which moves as when the (device that speeds something up) pushed and then the planetary gears do the further work which is completely controlled by the Mechatronic also called as TCU
DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission)
Take the example of 6 gear DCT. which has two grips that control even and odd mechanical device proportion with the first getting an odd arrangement of rigging.
So this has two transmission shafts that control those rigging proportions which are now separated by the one being inside than the other.
It also/and has a section named dog/tooth grabs/understands that are near the rigging and connect with when the mechanical device proportion separate of them should be used.
Drive transmitted to the dual mass flywheel through the transmission plate. From there, torque transmitted to electro-(using liquid under pressure) controlled tight hand-holds that operate even or odd-numbered gears.
The gear arrangement of the transmission seen as two separate gearboxes. Sub-Gearbox 1 Odd-numbered gears (1, 3, 5, 7) driven through central input shaft by the tight hand-hold.
Sub-Gearbox 2 Even-numbered gears (2, 4, 6) and the reverse gear driven through input shaft 2 (a hollow shaft) by 2nd tight hand-hold.
Basicaly, the Power output is through the common output shaft,
with torque transmitted directly to the center differential.
Design Features of the Dual ClutchThe dual-tight hand-hold serves two tasks:- To engage the engine at initial increasing speed and to disengage the engine when stopping.
CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission)
This type of transmission that can change through a (without limits or an end) amount of gear ratios. The CVT designed to keep the engine in its peak power range.
keeping the engine in the power range improves (as much as possible) the fuel consumption and power range.
Keeping the engine in its power band gives about 17% better (how much fuel a vehicle uses).
PDK
PDK Transmission Is a type of dual-clutch system but with major changes, it used in the new 911 Carrera Models.
Porsche introduced PDK to racing over 20 Years ago and is thought of as a pioneer of this technology. This new transmission creates amazing/very unusual performance while maintaining shifting ease and reducing fuel consumption.
Which type is the Best Automatic Transmission?
DCT is one of the most successful Automatic Transmissions which invented in 1935 by French Engineer Adolphe Kegresse.
which was first installed in a Citroen Traction Avant in 1939.
If you are looking for the Feel and smoothness of the moving of gears with a bit of fuel (wasting very little while working or producing something)
DCT Automatic Transmission is the best fit for you which also used in BMW, Hyundai & Kia Cars launched in India.
